The Jewish Arts Literature Program kicked off in 2013 with a series of writing master classes in partnership with the Sydney Jewish Writers Festival, presented by acclaimed author Alan Gold. Joanne Fedler and Diane Armstrong subsequently presented very successful workshops.
Writers North: The interest generated by these events led to the establishment of a monthly Jewish Arts Writers Group on the North Shore, supported by the Ku-ring-gai Council and the North Shore Synagogue, to discuss a broad range of topics relevant to a diverse range of writers, published and as yet unpublished. Meetings run from 7:30-9:00pm on the first Monday of each month.

Writers East: Thanks to a grant from the Waverley Council, there is now a monthly group in the Eastern Suburbs as well, from 7:15-8:45pm on the third Monday of each month at Waverley Library.

Workshops: Writing workshops are presented from time to time, by established authors with skills to share.
Note: at present the writers groups are not operating.
