About This Event
The remarkable Israeli harmonica player and composer, Ariel Bart, has included VJs on her Australian tour schedule in December. She grew up in Beit Zait, near Jerusalem, and began playing the chromatic harmonica as a child, inspired by Stevie wonder, Bob Dylan and her sister! Now based in Berlin, she has reimagined what the instrument can do, weaving nostalgic melodies with quiet strength and feeling. Ariel's trio has performed at major festivals in Europe and Asia. Two outstanding local musicians join her for her Australian debut: Lauren Tsamouras (piano) and Freya Schack-Arnott (cello). Together they'll create an unforgettable evening of lyrical, boundary-crossing music that celebrates connection and creativity.
Jewish Arts is delighted to welcome this unique trio to the VJs stage on 7 December.
Light refreshments are included in the ticket price.
